ERA leads discussion and answers questions about sustainable measures for municipalities

Engineering Resource Associates, Inc. (ERA) is hosting a free session for current and prospective clients. John Mayer, PE, CFM, will moderate "Sustainable Measures for Municipalities" on Wednesday, June 17 from 9:00 a.m. to noon at Fairfield Inn & Suites at 645 W. North Avenue in Lombard. Mr. Mayer has over 21 years of professional experience including the design and construction management of transportation, traffic, lighting, infrastructure and institutional and recreational type site facilities. He has served as municipal engineer for numerous municipalities in northeastern Illinois and serves as project manager on numerous projects for local municipalities, counties, IDOT, stormwater commissions, park districts and forest preserves throughout northeastern Illinois. He also serves as Chairman of South Suburban Branch – US Green Building Council Chicago Chapter.

This session will include speakers who will discuss topics related to energy considerations, environmental measures, material selection and reuse, and understanding the LEED commissioning process.
