ERA hired by David Dressler, Inc. for 5-acre automotive site
GENEVA, Ill. - Engineering Resource Associates, Inc. (ERA) was hired by David Dressler, Inc. to provide commercial development services for MacNeil Automotive Products, Ltd. in Downers Grove. As a member of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), ERA will pursue the LEED® Silver Certification while providing stormwater analysis, preliminary and final design services. The design will feature permeable pavers, green roofs, and bioswales to satisfy certification requirements and achieve the highest level water quality standards.
The MacNeil Automotive site is located within an industrial park and consists of a new 130,000 square-foot manufacturing building and a 2-story office space. The new 60,000 square-foot parking lot contains 125 parallel stalls and six loading docks. Through the incorporation of best management practices, the site will include rain gardens, and underground stormwater detention to increase on-site filtration.
