ERA provided civil engineering design services for Anchor Development office complex in Aurora, Illinois

AURORA, Ill. - Construction has been completed on Anchor Development, a new commercial office complex on Montgomery Road in the City of Aurora. Engineering Resource Associates, Inc. (ERA) provided the developer with full engineering design and specifications for the site, in addition to securing permits from Fox Metro Water Reclamation District and IEPA for both watermain and sanitary sewer main extensions. As part of the design process, ERA studied existing emergency overflow routes from an adjacent residential site and assured those routes were maintained in the proposed design. ERA’s final plans included extensive parking lot pavement and curb elevations, which were used by ERA survey crews in the construction staking process to efficiently and accurately detail the required overflow routes for the paving contractor.
