ERA welcomes Bruce Maki as the new Director of Environmental Resources
WHEATON, Ill. - Engineering Resource Associates, Inc. (ERA) is pleased to welcome Bruce Maki as our new Director of Environmental Resources, as Bruce brings 18 years of water resource experience to our firm. Mr. Maki’s past experience as a founding staff member of the DuPage County Stormwater Management Program allowed him to participate in one of the most innovative and nationally recognized stormwater programs in the nation. His line of “firsts” includes working on the writing and implementation of one of the leading regional watershed regulations, establishment of some of the first local government wetland banks in the nation, and the negotiation of the first U.S Army Corps of Engineers CWA Section 404 delegation to local government. In addition, he has been involved in the stormwater management and environmental impacts of many major public and private projects built in DuPage County in the last decade. Mr. Maki has extensive experience with regulatory agencies such as EPA, IDNR-OWR, FEMA, USACOE, and the IEPA. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology, a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, and has been Federally Certified as a Wetland Delineator by the Chicago District of the Army Corps.
