ERA to provide engineering design services for a new Enterprise Rent-A-Car facility in Oak Park, Illinois
OAK PARK, Ill. - Engineering Resource Associates, Inc. (ERA) has been selected to provide engineering design services for a new Enterprise Rent-A-Car facility in Oak Park, Illinois. ERA is proud to continue its close working relationship with Enterprise, as ERA has previously provided civil engineering design for Enterprise projects in the northwest suburbs. The Oak Park facility presents a unique challenge, as the entire site consists of a 23,000 square foot brick building. The exterior brick walls of the building shall be maintained, while the existing roof and interior structure will be demolished. Working in tandem with the project architect, ERA will design a new parking facility within the brick walls. Special emphasis will be placed on maintaining the existing stone base where possible to minimize construction costs for the new parking lot and storm sewer system. ERA will handle all necessary permitting in this combined sewer area with the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago (MWRDGC).
